Vertical Material Lifts

What are Vertical Material Lifts?

A Vertical Material Lift is another name for Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRC’s).  A vertical Material Lift will move products from elevation to another.  These can be used to move products in factories, warehouses, industrial plants or anywhere that products, supplies or materials need to move from one level to another. Since these lifts are not elevators and transport material only, elevator safety codes do not apply to this line of products.  VRC’s have their own national code (ASME B20.1) and are specifically exempt from the national elevator code.

Why do I need a Vertical Material Lift?

Vertical Material Lifts (VRC’s) provide an efficient, convenient and safe way to transfer materials from mezzanines, balconies, basements, and between levels in multiple story buildings. They can be installed against buildings and mezzanines, in shafts and through-floor, interior or exterior applications.  Vertical Material Lifts are also a more efficient way to move material between levels and less costly than forklifts and elevators.

Who Needs Vertical Material Lifts?

Any business or person that needs to move material between multiple levels, whether those levels are basements, mezzanines, lofts or other previously inaccessible space, will benefit from the use of a material lift.

CIP Vertical Material Lifts

pml-lifts

PML Series

As the entry level lift in the PM series of lifts, the PML is anything but “basic” and deserves to be highlighted. These economical modular units are simply the best value, safest, easiest installing, and fastest shipped of all our standard VRCs.

pallet-master-pm

Pallet Master (PM) Series

CIP pioneered the PM Series Modular Lift. With pre-built section and pre-wiring capabilities, these units can be installed in a fraction of the time of regular VRCs. With the PM Series lift, you get the best security and safety for less.

straddle-lifts

Straddle (S) Series

The S Series Straddle Lift is the most common lift used. Its simple design is robust, reliable and affordable. Whether you are transporting small boxes or large palletized loads, the straddle lift will do the job.

cantilever-lifts-1

Cantilever (C) Series

The C Series Cantilever Lift is most commonly used for low overhead applications or tall travel heights. This chain drive lift offers a 90 degree load/unload option and can handle heavy loads.

fp-series-lift

Four Post (FP) Series

CIP’s FP Series Four Post Lifts are designed for moving large heavy loads. The capabilities or these lifts are virtually limitless. The design is scalable to very large platform sizes capable of transporting forklifts, cars, or palletized loads.

dual-mast-lifts

Dual Mast (DM) Series

The DM Series Dual Mast Lift is designed for moving large heavy loads where there is low overhead clearance or tall travel heights. They excel with loads that are longer than they are deep and is scalable to transport forklifts, cars, and/or palletized loads.
