CIP’s HISTORY
In 1995, Custom Industrial Products, Inc. started as a manufacturer of material handling products. CIP rapidly became known for its quality engineering, superior system controls, and impressive technical and sales support. As the demand for quality VRCs and durable hospitality carts increased, another opportunity was grasped as we relocated the manufacturing facility to its current 40,000 square foot building at 360 East Drive in sunny Melbourne, Florida.
CIP’s MISSION
While we may not be the oldest manufacturer in our industry, we are the most creative, responsive and technologically advanced in the field. Our mission is to continue to provide some of the most advanced material handling solutions available. One byproduct of this mission was the development of modular vertical lift system, a first in the industry. Another was pioneering new technologies such as our exclusive Intelitroll smart self-diagnostic control panels and programs.
SALES FORCE
In order to accommodate the increase in demand for VRCs, CIP’s sales team has had the opportunity to expand. With coverage extending beyond our shores, our team of sales people continues to grow. CIP is also extremely proud of the hundreds of representatives that extend superior coverage and quality service for our customers.
ENGINEERING
Having some of the best engineers in the industry helps CIP remain ahead of the rest in terms of quality. Every product is quality checked to ensure satisfaction. CIP’s team of specialty engineers devote their time and efforts to special projects brought to them by our customers such as government agencies, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Military.
MANUFACTURING
From the controls and fabrication shop through assembly and shipping, every aspect of CIP’s products are quality checked and manufactured with precision. All welding, assembly and electrical work is accomplished by experienced professionals who have been thoroughly trained in their area of expertise.
